Safeguarding
No child should experience harm. Everyone (whether you are a member of staff, parent or volunteer) has a responsibility to make sure that all our children are safe. We pride ourselves in creating a safe and welcoming environment underpinned by a culture of openness where both children and adults feel secure.
All members of staff have a duty to safeguard our pupils' welfare and are trained to do so.
In all matters relating to safeguarding and child protection, the School procedures in our own school polices and also those laid down by Hampshire Safeguarding Children Board together with DfE information contained in:
Working Together to Safeguard Children and
Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE 2023)
If anyone has a concern about the safety or welfare of a pupil, they have a duty to report this concern.
At Church Crookham Junior School, concerns should be reported to one of the Safeguarding Leads who are:
Miss Pam Meek (Headteacher)
Miss Danielle Bending (Deputy Headteacher)
Mr Stephen French (Assistant Headteacher)
