Geography
Geography is about developing knowledge, skills and understanding relating to people, places and environments at different scales, in the United Kingdom and overseas, and an appreciation of how places relate to each other and the wider world.
At Church Crookham Junior School a geographer's journey of learning is not just during lessons taught. Geography is everywhere and everything. Children's learning in each year group begins with our local area, allowing children to explore and make the learning personal to them. They use enquiry, field-work and apply their knowledge to make connections, enabling them to make connections. They are not only taught geographical knowledge and terms, but they are encouraged to think and see the world like a geographer.
